GRADUATE TRACK · FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS
After Python: the graduate track.
For students who've completed LCCL's Python programme and want to keep going. A self-directed research project with one-to-one mentorship — building something portfolio-ready for university and beyond.

THE TRACK
A research project of their own.
The graduate track is for students who've finished the Python programme and want to go further. Instead of a set syllabus, each student picks a real problem to investigate and builds it out over time, guided one-to-one by a mentor.
HOW IT WORKS
From a question to a finished project.
There's no fixed timetable. Students work at the pace their project needs, with a mentor alongside them.
With their mentor, the student chooses a research question or project worth real time — something they actually care about solving.
They design, build and refine it — learning to scope a problem, debug under pressure and document their work the way a real engineer does.
They finish with a portfolio-ready project they can explain and defend — the kind of work that stands out on a university application and beyond.
SINCE 2012
Built on years, not weeks.
LCCL was founded by Juliana, an NUS Computer Science graduate, and our curriculum is advised by Professor Leong Hon Wai of NUS. We've taught coding to over 3,000 children since 2012.
Some of those students have grown up with us, term after term. The graduate track is where they take everything they've learned and make it their own — with a mentor who already knows how they work.

WHAT THEY GAIN
More than a project.
A real portfolio piece
Something substantial they designed and built themselves — concrete proof of what they can do, for applications and interviews.
Self-direction
Scoping a problem, managing their own time, and seeing a long project through. The habits that matter at university and at work.
A mentor in their corner
One-to-one guidance from a teacher who's followed their progress for years and knows exactly how to push them.
STUDENTS WHO STAY
"My son has been with LCCL Coding Academy for 5 years, since he was in Kindergarten 2. Over the years, coding has become something he truly loves. He placed in the Top 20 in this year's Coding Olympics."
"I am really enjoying and learning a lot from the way the lessons currently are. I especially like having a little task to complete after each lesson, as it helps reinforce what I have learnt that day."
PARENTS ASK
"Who is the graduate track for?"
Students who have completed LCCL's Python programme and want to keep going. It's a continuation track for our own students, not a starting point for newcomers.
"Is there a trial or public sign-up?"
No. The graduate track isn't a public class with a trial. It's arranged for current students who are ready to continue — speak to your child's teacher, or message us, and we'll talk through whether it's the right time.
"What will my child build?"
A self-directed research project of their own choosing — something substantial they design, build and refine over time, ending with a portfolio-ready piece of work.
"How is it different from the Python class?"
Python is the taught weekly programme with a set curriculum. The graduate track is self-directed: the student leads, and a mentor guides them one-to-one through a project of their own. New to LCCL? Start with Python.
Keep them going.
If your child has finished the Python programme and wants to take it further, let's talk about whether the graduate track is the right next step.
