Focused LCCL students working through a hard problem on their laptops

INVITATION-BASED · BY TEACHER RECOMMENDATION

Competition training for our strongest coders.

A focused track for students ready to compete. It grows out of our weekly classes, on a teacher's recommendation — the path starts with a single class.

IDE2025 CHAMPIONS

Our students took the overall top spot at Coding Olympics 2025 — the highest placing in the field.

FOUR IN THE TOP 20

Four LCCL students placed Top 20 at Coding Olympics 2025. Not one standout — a group.

NUS CS FACULTY

Founded by NUS CS alumni. Curriculum designed with Prof Leong Hon Wai, NUS Associate Professor of Computer Science.

SINCE 2012

14 years teaching kids 5–18. 3,000+ students. Competition results built on the same weekly classes.

HOW STUDENTS GET THERE

The path to competition training.

You don't sign up for competition training directly. It's earned in the weekly classroom, and it starts the same way every LCCL journey does.

STEP 1
Start in weekly classes

Every competitor begins in a normal weekly class — Scratch, then Python — building real projects and the problem-solving habits underneath them.

STEP 2
A teacher spots the readiness

With a 6:1 ratio, teachers know each student well. When a child shows the appetite and the ability for harder problems, the teacher recommends the competition track.

STEP 3
An invitation from our team

We invite the family directly, with a personal link. Places are limited and matched to the student — there's no open sign-up, and no waitlist to game.

STEP 4
Focused training for the contest

Small-group sessions on algorithms, problem-solving and past-paper practice, pointed at the competition they're preparing for.

THE FIRST STEP

It starts with one class.

Competition training isn't something you buy — it's where our weekly students grow to. Start with a class or a trial, and let the work make the case.

QUESTIONS

Can I sign my child up for competition training?

Not directly. It's invitation-based, on a teacher's recommendation. The way in is to start in weekly classes so a teacher can get to know your child's work.

How is a student chosen?

Teachers watch for the appetite and the ability for harder problems in the weekly classroom. When a student is ready, we invite the family with a personal link.

What competitions do students prepare for?

Coding olympiads and contests suited to each student's level. Our students were IDE2025 Overall Champions, with four placing Top 20 at Coding Olympics 2025.

We were invited — where do we book?

Use the personal link our team sent you; it's tied to your child. If you can't find it, message us on WhatsApp and we'll resend it.
